The attached table illustrates our sustainable development performance for 2009 in key focus areas and sets out targets for 2010 and beyond. Each focus area is aligned with the Group's strategy to become the employer and partner of choice.
We have signed up to and are committed to operating within the International Council of Mining Metals framework for sustainable development and the UN Global Compact, as well as reporting our performance using the Global Reporting Initiative's (GRI) G3 guidelines. By integrating external, independent benchmarks into our reporting culture, we ensure our data is transparent and comparable globally.
